Julian 10 Posted May 4, 2019 Share Posted May 4, 2019 Heres some ideas of what would be nice to see, some are ideas of my own and some are things ive seen from other servers >1- when the account is created, have it spawn with a ring of wealth (i), this ring will let you access the rare drop table of every npc easily, a (20-35%) buff would be nice, this ring will be also untradeable and only reclaimable from an npc if lost by legendary players for a small coin fee. example--- a bpc drops in a 1/256 drop rate, at the moment of giving the fishing blow to the generar graardor if the ring is equiped the item will roll in a (1/256*0.75) = 1/192 drop rate. >2 -a sword as fast as knifes but as strong as a dragon scimitar( like a baby rapier) this weapon might only be used (1k-5k) times per day and will provide a melee bosting xp for legendary players a bit per day. this weapon was the signature weapon for (soulsplit) server for the legendary class, CANNOT be used in pvp. >3- a 30% chance of landing double charms when an npc is meant to drop them. >4- a 50% chance of landing double tokkul when finishing a fight cave or selling a cape to the store >5- a 50% chance of getting double pkps when killing a player in the wilderness >6- a (25%) chance of not consuming a bone while using it in an altar. please vote down in the pool, wich option you like the most ? Would probably lead to people boosting. No good. Probably not looking to pk on legend accounts 6. Would rather have the wildy altar like osrs. also I am very against the drop rate increase idea. Sonofares Pk 69 Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 None of it is really necessary 1. Overpowered, drop rate in the server is already boosted, easy af to get anything. I know MOST servers who have the legend mode have the drop rate enhanced but that doesn't mean this server needs that. The legend game mode isnt a mode just to get better items, would be easier to flood the eco with items from bosses with a legend account. Ik the eco isn't the best, but we don't gotta add to the downfall of it. 2. Overpowered as well, with all these afkable group bosses and other ways to afk train combat stats, theres no point in making it even easier for a gamemode that should be harder. 3. Charms aren't really hard to get at the moment, so double might be a bit much, 1.5x like Boats said wouldn't be too bad, but eh. 4. Getting tokkul isn't really a thing that is needed, only thing that is good to buy with tokkul is an onyx which doesn't take too long to get and the bone cape which was put in there for the reason to grind out tokkul so making it easier to obtain on a gamemode is kind of backwards. So don't see this one as necessary. 5. Pking isn't big on the server, and why would a legend acc pk. Not really worth imo, as well as the boosting aspect (Which I know, could be fixed). 6. Not a bad idea, but if we get the wildy altar then i'd be more fair for the entire server which I believe would be better. The legend game mode isn't supposed to be for people who are looking for easier ways to get it done. This game mode is for the people who want to grind everything out. Any way of making this easier is just ruining the game mode. And this is coming from someone who has maxed (working on Comp) on an Ultimate Ironman Legend. Shouldn't reward/encourage the choice of a harder mode by means that make that harder mode easier.
