Currently turmoil is worse than piety, turmoil it offers 23 strength bonus and 15 attack and defence, it dose not raise over time like it did pre EOC. Where as piety offers more defence and i'm quite sure more attack but the same strength. Thus making turmoil not the best option but still viable only because of soul split.
