  1. In-Game Name: Virtus. Description Of The Bug: When attempting to load any Essence into a Rune Pouch (Small, Medium, Large, Giant) for Runecrafting, the options for Fill and Empty are currently the opposite way around. Whilst this works for ease of access; it can be a confusing matter when attempting to load any Essence into the pouches. Alongside this, currently only Pure Essence can be loaded into these pouches; leaving the option of Rune Essence out; the traditional ore that you receive from mining the statue within the Donator zone. Can This Be Re-Created: It can, simply try and fill the pouches with both forms of essence and watch the options be the wrong way around. Screenshot If Applicable: Hard to screenshot this I'm afraid.
  2. In-Game Name: Virtus. What Are You Suggesting: I am suggesting the ability to be able to craft Overload potions at a 4 dose level instead of being limited to making them with three doses. Currently, Extreme potions can be crafted from 4 dose Super potions, which would be the smartest thing to do to maximise the dosage that you receive from that potion. So let's say you've done that to 96 and now have plenty of Extremes ready to be converted; you would have to drink a dose of each individual potion to be able to make them into Overloads only to then have to re-decant them (Where Overloads can't be noted/decanted using the NPC making it a manual chore) to achieve the potions you want. Who/What Does This Benefit: It benefits those who train Herblore and saves the hassle of having to decant them at the NPC/manually. I do understand that the conventional method of making Overloads/Extremes should be 3 dose potions by RS standards; but with Extremes having the ability to be made at a 4 dose level it only seems logical to do the same with Overloads. Any Additional Comments: As previously stated, the Decanter at home currently will not accept any Extreme/Overload potions; noted or un-noted making decanting these potions into full doses an incredibly tedious task (This section belongs more in the bugs tab).
  3. You've got my support here, an overhaul in general to make sure valuable items are highly protected would be beneficial in general.
  4. Just what I needed for my Slayer task, thanks Lation
  5. This looks amazing! Can't wait to try this out! Big fan of the support coming to Legends mode too! Glad to see some support is given to those participating in the grind

    Clue Scroll Bug

In-Game Name: Callum. Brief Description of the Bug: If you have a clue step that you do not wish to complete (Kill the King Black Dragon Hard clue step, Wilderness clues etc), you would generally drop the clue in hopes of obtaining a new clue with a different set of algorithms. Currently this isn't the case, as any dropped clue scrolls will continue to give the same step until it is completed. This is problematic for Hardcore Ironmen in regards to the Wilderness steps or low-levelled players who are not ready to fight the King Black Dragon. Can This Be Re-Created: I have recreated this with many Hard clue scrolls so far; unaware of what other steps might pose as challenging. Can You Provide Evidence: Evidence can not be provided within this scenario, it will require testing.
  7. Making some great progress there, excited to see where this goes!
  8. Welcome to the Forums Shelby! Seen you around in-game a bit and glad you're enjoying your time here!
  9. ELY IS ONLINE: Discord still experiencing minor issues.

  10. DISCORD DOWNTIME UPDATE: Discord has released a statement notifying everybody that the issue has been identified, we should have it working again shortly.

  11. It would be a great addition to PvM and potentially PvP in my opinion. I was unaware of this, will have to pick these up ASAP!
  12. In-Game Name - Callum. What Are You Suggesting - I am suggesting the addition of the Rune Pouch: a single inventory slot item that has the potential to store a maximum of three rune types; freeing inventory slots to increase the quality of life whilst completing actions within Ely. Who/What Does This Benefit - Overall, this benefits everybody. Whether you are out on a Slayer task wanting to alch miscellaneous drops (Rune etc), gathering rune drops from PvM monsters, training the Magic skill in a levelling fashion or using the style as a method of fighting a boss. The Rune Pouch holds countless benefits and can be a way at pushing people towards using Magic as a primary skill instead of focusing solely on Melee. Any Additional Information - We've already got some OSRS additions on Ely in the form of bosses (Kraken, Cerberus etc), so why not further the reach and include some of the more useful and requested items. If this does gain support and is pushed towards inclusion, other items will be suggested in the future (Seed Box, Looting Bag, Advanced Skilling armours etc). For more information about the basis of the Rune Pouch, here is a link to the OSRS Wiki - https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rune_pouch
  13. In-Game Name - Callum. What Are You Suggesting - I am suggesting the addition of being able to note clean herbs whilst out on a farm run by using the items on a Tool Leprechaun. This feature currently works for grimy herbs, yet for some obscure reason doesn't work when the herbs have been cleaned. Who/What Does This Benefit - If you're like me, you clean the herbs as soon as you farm them. Whilst some people may keep them grimy to sell to other players, Ironmen tend to clean them up immediately to save the hassle of doing it later. This feature would be a quality of life upgrade; alongside something that realistically should already be in-game. Any Additional Information - I'm not entirely sure whether this fits into Suggestions or Bugs due to it being an intended feature, so please do move this to the relevant region if incorrect.
  14. I completely missed this one, thanks!

  16. It's been quite some time since I played Ely properly, only occasionally stopping in to catch up with some old friends. But, now that I have a somewhat easier schedule and some motivation, I felt it was the right time to revisit my favourite server. So, who exactly am I? Some of you may remember me, but to the ones who don't, my name is Callum. I'm 23 years old and was a member of Ely since its previous source. Currently, I am at the final stages of my Masters degree in Film, Television & Screen Industries and looking to pursue a PhD once I have taken some time off. I like to read, write, draw and have a passion for photography. Looking forward to catching up with everybody again whilst meeting all the members of the Ely community. If you see me on either of my accounts in-game (Callum/Virtus) then feel free to say hello! TLDR - I'm back baby.
  17. I'd have to not support this. As previously stated the purpose of the Ironman modes are to be self-sufficient. It would become a P2W scenario and never sit well with the Iron community. You would annoy a lot of people who not only spent hours to gain a specific item, but also put their status at risk when they could have given the game money. The only way I would consider supporting this would be for the items to be purely cosmetic that can't be obtained by other means yet restricted to zero stat/effect bonuses, any form of combat equipment and its a definite no from me. Again as stated, even if you ruin the game mode for yourself, you de-value the achievements of those playing legitimately. If you want to donate for items then do it on a regular account where people don't mind a P2W environment. Ironmen should not have the ability to donate for any form of item that would give them an advantage over others playing the mode.
  18. Your wish has been granted. You didn't just read them, but they are all you will ever be able to read from this moment on. I wish I had time to return to Ely.
  19. Good luck Jake, some very nice goals you've set there!
  20. Some great additions, wish I'd stocked up on seeds though
  21. Would be a useful feature for Ironman accounts, especially any Legends out there who need to bulk buy supplies.
  22. Sorry to let you all know but I'll be winning this competition ;)
  23. Easily above the 100+ range if we keep the content flowing and advertisement up. The growth has been fantastic since launch with a lot of potential for further growth in the future.
  24. I don't support this, it makes the charms then obsolete as nobody would ever use a gold charm again. Personally feel that if you want the experience then use the charms you have, if you're committed to having higher tier charms then you'd have to farm further for them.
  25. I support this, would be better to start building a generalised economy on the rings by giving them some actual value.
