You do realize not all weapons are best everywhere?

While I do agree that we don't really need more range weapons right now, I do like this suggestion. I don't think now is the right time to bring in more custom combat gear, but maybe in the future.

To answer your edited reply, having the community give us ideas actually saves us a lot of time, time we can use to make other suggestions a reality

It's a highly requested change, and fits into the Ely revamp. If it's not so important, what would you suggest would be more important to focus on right now?

All some good points, we would for sure need to discuss this a lot more. But for now, I think we would like to see what the community thinks. Everyone feel free to suggest alternative ideas, or add to this suggestion. I would love to see what everyone thinks.

No. This will never happen. Why? It's way too op. Slayer tedious? Slayer is probably the most fun and easy skills there is. Again, no.

After all this time, I am proud to say THIS suggestion is live ingame!

The only use for them on Ely would be if you intend on killing turoths or kurasks with ranged, which I doubt many people do. But like Kyle has already mentioned, they are a unlock in the slayer shop. They would only be used on Ely to slay said monsters, which already have a way better way to be killed. With that being said, I have nothing against having it as an option, but like Lation said, is it worth the dev time?
