Ingame Rules.
NOTE: These rules are subject to change at anytime without warning. It is your responsibility as a player to keep yourself up to date with the rules at all times. Ely RSPS rules are non exhaustive.
Rule: 1.
NO Inappropriate Content, Language or behaviour, such as but not limited to: (Spam, Flame, Harassment).
At Ely we provide a community that works together collaboratively and are caring of one another. Breaking this rule disturbs the community, therefore will result in the appropriate punishment.

Friends Chat Kick.
Mute.
IP-Mute.
Ban.
Rule: 2.
Advertising.
Ely RSPS is a devoted server to all our loyal players, any forms of advertisement ingame, on forums or on any of our social media sites will result in the appropriate punishment.

IP-Ban.
Mac-Ban.
Rule: 3.
Account / Staff Impersonation.
In NO way, shape or form is impersonating an Ely player or staff member allowed. Ely RSPS has chosen its staff team to carry out specific tasks so that the server runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
-Potential Punishments (dependent upon severity):
Perm-Ban.
Rule: 4.
Punishment Evasion.
Evading a punishment by any means is NOT ALLOWED. If punished, you are expected to serve out the punishment, or appeal it on the forums for a re-review of your individual case.

Mute ➔ IP-Mute.
Ban ➔ IP-Ban ➔ Mac-Ban.
Rule: 5.
Third Party Software / Botting / Mouse keys
Ely has a strict NO THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE policy. We believe that the best way to enjoy the game we offer, is to play it yourself! This also includes ANY TYPE of botting/macro/mouse keys use; no animated game-play of Ely is permitted.
NOTE: Staff members reserve the right to punish you for suspicion of the use of any third party software.

Jail.
Ban.
IP-Ban.
Mac-Ban.
Rule: 6.
Threats to community and playerbase. (DDoS, Phishing, etc.)
Any attempt of threatening a user or the server with any form of software e.g: phishing links or DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service), is NOT ALLOWED.

IP-Ban.
Mac-Ban.
Rule: 7.
Bug Abuse.
If you find a bug in our game or on our forums please report it immediately to a Staff Member. Do not leak this information to the community. Any form of Bug Abuse will result in relevant punishment regarding its severity.

Jail.
Ban.
IP-Ban.
Mac-Ban.
Rule: 8.
NO VPN Voting.
Ely’s community allows all players to vote a maximum of 2x Daily (6 vote points every 12 Hours). DO NOT try to vote more than this, via VPN voting or any other means.
-Potential Punishments (dependent upon severity):
Removal of Vote points/Items.
Ban.
Rule: 9.
PVP (Player VS Player).
Player vs Player is a part of the game, which is encouraged by staff. Keep in mind, you enter the Wilderness at your own risk. However, if you are caught attempting to lure / successfully luring other players or Multi-logging accounts punishments will apply. Staff members are NOT to be attacked in the wilderness unless otherwise instructed to do so.

Jail.

Rule: 10.
No Posting of any links in-game, unless they are Ely related.
Posting any links ingame not related to Ely is NOT allowed, we protect our players from as much harm as possible. Doing otherwise compromises the safety of our players.

Mute.
Jail.
Ban.
Rule: 11.
Account Sharing.
Ely allows accounts to be shared between players, BUT this is at your OWN RISK, Sufficient evidence must be submitted to show that both players have agreed on the ability to share the account. No Staff will be involved in the recovery of account sharing related scams / hacks, etc.
-Potential Punishments (dependent upon severity):
Mute
Perm Ban.
Entire bank being collected by Debt or Repossession
Rule: 12.
Multi-logging Accounts.
Ely RSPS allows for the use of multi-logging for most activities, HOWEVER there is to be NO multi-logging at any Bosses, Player hosted events or In the Wilderness.

Jail.
Ban.
Rule: 13.
Real World Trading (RWT).
Ely does NOT allow any type of real world trading to occur at any time.

Ban.
IP-Ban.
Mac-Ban.
Rule: 14.
SafeSpotting Bosses.
Ely does NOT allow the safespotting of any monsters, unless they are Jagex'd approved. EG: JAD, Tormented Demons

Friends Chat Rules.
Rule: 1.
English only in the Friends Chat.
Rule: 2.
All in-game server rules apply.
Rule: 3.
Swearing is allowed, but not in anyway directed at a player in a demeaning or negative way & keep it in moderation otherwise.
Rule: 4.
Active debates between players is allowed. However, if it escalates in a way it affects other players ability to speak & use the Friends Chat to talk and/or ask questions, it is expected to move that escalated conversation to Private and/or Public Messaging.
Rule: 5.
Flaming, spamming or anything relating to such is not allowed. The first chat a new player will see is the Friends Chat, so keeping it clean & moderated is a must. Therefore; flaming or spamming of any kind is not allowed.
