I don't think making them untradeable is the correct solution as usually they need to be infused with end-game gear such as Nex Sets & Primals - essentially this would make them a free reclaimable on death meaning no risk whatsoever. Very bad idea. As for the examine values of exclusive items, we have to be very careful with this. A high examine value automatically sets a minimum price for the exclusive before the community has decided on a price. There is no way of knowing how many will be brought into game, so we could end up with a price that doesn't quite fit. As for PvMing with these items, that's the risk that you take to begin with. They're rare and exclusive, deciding to go into an instanced boss fight with them should be the responsibility of the player. One thing that I can agree with however is that when the exclusive item is imbued, it gains the examine value of the item that imbued it. For example: Reaper would gain the examine value of Torva if it has been imbued. Without the imbue, the examine value would remain as it was.

  10. You can't really compare the addition of Custom items in-game to a potion boost. The difference is, the overload is something Jagex made. The Fiery items are something Ely made.
  11. We do have Proselyte in the melee shop at home. No reason why an Initiate set can't be added alongside that one. Don't see any point in making tiffy an operational NPC.
  12. This is how it was originally on RS when they were released. As we're in that era, it makes sense for it still to be the same here. If this gains enough support, I wouldn't be opposed to it but until it does I think it should remain as it was back then.

  14. To be completely honest, I would be in favour of removing Ring of Wealth (i) from the ::train shop. Instead we should have a rework to both Ring of Wealth and Ring of Wealth (i) - therefore adding the imbue option for all players. My suggestion: Regular ROW should just add a chance to hit the rare drop table when killing any npc - this drop table should be looked at, adding items relevant to Ely. ROW (i) should have the added benefit of extra chance for clue scrolls and c key halves.
  15. I will speak to Erra/Iso to reiterate the importance of Rule 10 and the implication of being seen on two accounts at the same spot in the wilderness. However, I can not with 100% certainty say that both Erra & Iso accounts were involved in the PKing so a warning is the most that can be issued. Thanks for your report.

  18. Have you tried the settings options at the top right of client? There is a "Hide others pets options" uncheck that, then see if you can pick it up.

  22. Most items have community made prices which do not match or even come close to their examine values - so the problem with 5-10% total worth of the items is; How do we calculate that? Do we base it off examine values? Do we create entirely new values which will only be relevant to the reclaim interface? Do we update it regularly based on community prices? You have a very valid point and this is exactly the kind of discussion we need to be having.

  24. I have edited this guide accordingly. The old ::tele hunter location can still be teleported to via; Clicking the World Map -> Skilling List -> Hunter Also altered the Arandar clue step to include ::tele arandar
  25. I think this is why I added the below sentence. I feel rather than changing examine values, it might be better to give them a death reclaim value which would be visible in the retrieval interface. There could be some difficulty altering the examine price for higher tier items, which could affect the way the normal items kept on death works.
