Legend Hardcore Ironman Progress Thread

50 Hours update: - Obtained a white party hat, d hatchet x2, d pickaxe, virtus top, bcp, assorted log/fish packs, golden scythe, and a peahat from the Super Mystery Boxes. Also got a fuck ton of tattoos. - 99 Agility which took fucking forever. - Other notable skills.... 81 thieving, 75 mining, 71 woodcutting, 70 smithing, 50 crafting. Agility took up a majority of the time and some of it is afking time. In the next 50 hours I hope to get thieving, mining, woodcutting, and firemaking to 99. I hope to get smithing up to 80+. -
I actually saw this idea somewhere else and thought it would be cool. What if after a certain amount of time being afk maybe 15-20 minutes you are teleported to a certain area and that's where you sit afk? It will keep player count up instead of logging them out and will also remove the mass of afkers at home which is unattractive.

Hey there, Another suggestion from me :p Currently we have the double dung tokens event that if I am not mistaken is hosted on the weekends. My suggestion would be to add either a once a month double xp weekend or an every weekend double xp weekend. The current xp rate is fair on both modes in my opinion but going alongside one of my other suggestion threads about a weekly calendar of hosted events by either staff or members alongside other events like double xp, double minigame points, or stuff like that to try and boost activity on the weekend when more people are likely able to have the time to play. If double xp every weekend is not desired maybe there could be something like... Weekend one = double slayer points per task completed Weekend two = double xp Weekend three = double points earned from minigames Weekend four = can either be a mishmash of the above suggestions in a rotating cycle or if anyone has another decent idea? And to supplement the above themes maybe weekend one is player/staff hosted boss masses. Weekend two can be skilling parties with trivia events to get people together. Weekend three can be minigame runs hosted by players/staff. And weekend four can follow the same suit based on whatever the decision is. And of course events can be hosted throughout the week as well. I don't have the stats myself to host these kinds of events or else i'd offer to help with some of this but I can help manage if this is something to explore. As always i'm open to ideas or suggestions.

Attached is a image of the spelling error. The error is found leaving the course at the first gate when crossing the log.

I didn't know that the money was already in the economy. I thought it was being spawned just for the giveaway so that's my mistake. If that's the case then that's cool.

Hey All, This will be a cumulative list of ideas over the next few days and I will update it as I think of more just to prevent myself from creating 18 separate threads. - Remove the 100m a day daily GP giveaway. I know the idea of this is to reward the players who are playing, possibly entice them to stay, and try to bring new players to the server. I feel like this can be achieved better by buffing the voting reward system, offering sales and discounts on select things in the donation store, adding other things to enhance the actual game play like selling perks that will make the game easier. For example offer a perk for fishing that will require no bait while fishing anywhere on Ely. Giving 100m GP a day for the 100 days will create a large wealth gap between the old players who choose to stay and the new players who come onto the server especially if they come after the 100 day period. Maybe trying to promote events on the game itself to play some of the minigames or have boss masses. 10 Billion GP introduced into the server is a lot and if one person wins 10 times in 100 days they have just gotten 1b GP which can lead to an extreme wealth diversity issue. - To tie into my idea above release a calendar with weekly staff/certain member hosted events. The events can be anything that will bring people together to try and play some of the content that is tougher because of the fact we are a small server. For example castle wars, pest control and the other minigames/bosses. - Rotating vote shop rewards and sale items in the donor store. Rotating the items keeps fresh items in the store which will hopefully boost votes/donations to be able to get these desired items. - I have always been a huge fan of a perk related donation system that complements certain tiered donor zones. So for example there can be the current zone for the Guthix donators, a second zone for the Bandos donators, and a third zone for the ancient donors. The difference in zones is something that can be explored and discussed further if that is something that is worth exploring. The idea of different tiered donor zones would be for people to actually gain something besides wealth from items as they continue to donate. Each zone offers more content and bonuses which will help them as they progress through Ely. Ideas for some of the nicer content could be instanced bosses for Ancient Donors and for the Bandos Donors maybe a mineable ore that gives any type of ore obtainable in Ely. - As for the perks I suggested above a perk for fishing that would no longer require bait to fish anything in Ely. So that would mean you do not need bait to fish rocktail. This would add a variety of game enhancing content available to people and they would be able to buy bonuses if that is something they would wish to keep. There could also be a perk that will allow you to change your slayer task freely without having to spend points. There could also be something for degradable gear where if you buy the perk it degrades at 50% the usual rate which allows the gear to last longer before you have to repair it. These slight buffs allow people to pick and choose bonuses for their account depending on their play style. With this idea in mind I wouldn't suggest removing the current system but maybe changing what the emphasis is on. This is it for now, I will continue to update the thread with ideas as I think of them. As always any ideas or comments is greatly appreciated!

My suggestion would be to update the vote reward system and this can be done in a few different ways and I am totally open to suggestions regarding vote rewards. I believe making the vote rewards more valuable would increase voting and would reward those of us who are taking the time to vote although it really doesn't take all that long. Currently vote tickets can be used in a variety of different ways. You can either redeem them for 50% xp for 10 minutes each ticket, trade them, or save the tickets and use them for the vote shop. My first suggestion would be to change it so you can pick one of the following options... - 0% bonus xp and 10m GP. - 25% bonus xp for 10 minutes and 7.5m GP. - 50% bonus xp for 10 minutes and 5m GP. - 75% bonus xp for 10 minutes and 2.5m GP. - 100% bonus xp for 10 minutes and 0m GP. This option would allow for people to either choose an xp/GP combination or choose just XP depending on what they want. They can also decide to just take the cash. I'm totally okay with the GP and XP amounts being altered if 70 minutes of double xp is impractical. My second suggestion would be to just change it from 50% xp to 100% xp for 10 minutes per ticket. This would be an easier option most likely and for those of us on Legend mode it would be nice. My third suggestion regarding voting would be to change the countdown so if you log off the timer would stop and your voting 50% xp would not be wasted while you are not online. Things happen and it sucks to have lost 50 minutes of 50% xp especially on one of the harder game modes. My fourth suggestion would be to allow tickets to be redeemable for points along with the desired option stated in my first idea regarding vote rewards.

Hey All, I have two suggestions that I think would be good for the longevity of the server but might be hard to put into effect now. - First suggestion would be to create a timer that will eventually log people out. New players joining the server spawn at home and to walk in on a small server and see 75% of the people playing afk at home isin't the best image. Also if they ask questions to these players and get no replies they might abandon ship. I could see how this would decrease the amount of players shown online which also isin't a great thing. - Second suggestion would be to increase staff coverage to 24/7 which may be impractical as of now due to the size of the server but having a member of staff on and available 24/7 or as much time as possible would allow members to get the assistance they need at different times and there's always the benefit of having the staff member there to deter issues. I know these ideas are probably not practical at the moment but maybe in the future these ideas would allow for a diversity in the staff team and decrease the mob of afkers at home.

My suggestion would be to remove the PKP requirement for the achievements for any Ironman/HCI account. It's kind of impractical to expect an Ironman and especially a HCI account to risk their account to complete that achievement.

I'm also a paramedic/firefighter. However, I do not have a van we have mods.

Hey there, My name is Dave and my in-game name is Oncology and I currently am playing on a Legendary Hardcore Ironman. I might eventually explore other game type but for now this is what I have picked. My work schedule is pretty odd and hectic so you may see me playing at very different hours. Anyways, If you see me in-game feel free to say Hi. I typically keep to myself and don't really do too much pvm. Nice to meet everyone!
