MURDER ONLY So Everybody, After finishing my regular ironman (and working on dung on my legend for forever) I wanted to start a new account with stricter rules. I thought about doing an UIM (I still might do one too) but what i finally decided on was a "Murder Only" account. It will be a HIM, so all standard rules there apply. Additionally: Everything obtained on the account must be from a monster drop All shops banned* (see exceptions) All starting equipment dropped Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Farming, Hunting, Thieving, and Dungeoneering banned All crystal keys banned Minigame rewards banned* (see exceptions) Clue rewards banned Selling to stores banned (edit 10/9/2018) Alching banned (edit 10/9/2018) Achievement rewards banned (edit 10/9/2018) Exceptions: Dragon Fire Shield can be bought Pouches and shards can be bought Barrows chest will be considered a drop Agility will be allowed for shortcuts All toolbelt items can be bought Any items required for slayer can be bought, but nothing else (cannon banned) Slayer helm unlock, task skip, and task ban are allowed Hide tanning allowed Purchasing a house, plank making allowed Ava's Device can be bought Fire cape allowed Defenders allowed (armour used for points cannot be purchased) Vials of water can be purchased (edit 10/9/2018) Skillcapes can be purchased (edit 10/10/2018) Goals (not in perfect order): Dragon weapon/rune armour Barrows gear Completed slayer outfit: Full Slayer Helm, whip wine, dark bow, staff of light, Hexhunter Max combat level 99 in all allowed skills Other stuff tbd Other information and rules will be added as they come up, if you think of anything please add it. Add me ingame at "MurderSunday" I will be updating this thread fairly regularly as I hit certain checkpoints Thanks guys!!

Nah, I don't think any ironmen should have access to any donor items AT ALL, all mystery boxes included. The point of the game mode is to earn everything with your character. Being able to just buy stuff defeats the point of an ironman. I've had this argument a few times before and I have admitted that ironmen should be able to buy the unlockables, because everything is still earned by the account. But an ironman with spirit Shields and torva in their bank at lvl 1 is beyond rediculous. Anyway for non-ironmen accounts the boxes should be really good for the server, I hope they do really well!

Awesome! thanks for keeping track! This is really useful! But wouldn't a 50% chance of double rewards only be 532*1.5 = 798, or (532/2)*2 + (532/2) = 798?

I agree with Drops here that it would be a positive improvement. Idk if I agree that it would be worth the dev time but an improvement none the less. What I would like to see is the addition of gold and Royal cannons that hold 60 and 90 cannon balls respectively. These came out in March of 2011, so I think they exist in our build... Can't remember the exact time our build was ripped from.. anywho: as a think that implementing a fully functional artisans workshop is out of the question, adding in gold and Royal as sequential Slayer point upgrades for a really high amount of Slayer points would be good. Or if anyone thinks of a better way to keep it mining and smithing related.

Like I said to Enzyme, that doesnt actually increase value of skill or new content, it just is an unnecessary rate increase. Adding armour would be a quick, easily coded way to add additional actual value to the game.

Summer shop is closed, primal is no longer obtainable. Sagittarian is only available through zombie waves, I don't even know if Celestial is available. And even so, everything else in the donor equipment stores are available in-game, why not dung armour? It's not best in slot, so it wont change high level pvm meta, it just rounds out the game and adds an additional enjoyable aspect. I don't actually support this, basically just a rate boost, doesnt actually add value.

Username (ingame): MrSunday Suggestion (short description): Add rare drops to dungeoneering. Why (explain what this will benefit, and how): Will increase the benefits of dungeoneering. Details (a more thorough explanation of the above): Each dungeoneering boss to have a drop table of dung armours. This will include all tiers of dung armour, with varying drop rates, all the way to lvl 99 armour. To not flood the game with lvl 99 dung armours, I think the rate should be set such that you could expect to get a single random piece of lvl 99 every 200 floors. That means setting the drop rates of each piece to 1/3600. Then for lvl 90 maybe 1/2400, etc, down to the lvl 10 armour. I'll fill in a table tomorrow because TBH it's 2:30 AM and I'm taking a shit. I don't think that the weapons should be included because that would make the weapon market really weird, but I'll defer to you guys. This would make dungeoneering kind of like minibossing, rather than a single grind, and I know it would make the skill really popular. I do floors in ~30-40 seconds so at a 1/3600 drop rate per piece I would expect to get a single drop every hour and a half to two hours. Honestly having calculated that I think the drop rate should be lowered even more, maybe to one drop every 3-4 hours or so. Anyway, let me know, I'll make the full table tomorrow. #makedunggreatagain Best, Gabriel EDIT: Yeah going down to lvl 10 is alittle overkill, and as Enzyme pointed out Marmaros is already available in a shop, so this is just down to lvl 70.

im worried about runaway inflation if this is implemented. Vercii alone would add like 10b to the game the second this is released. I support, but i think that the exchange should be near alch value of the non-lucky item.

I agree, no reason to have them not be tradable. This is going to flood the market with whips though, basically making them worthless as the demand for them is already fairly low. End game I'd like to see them (all whips) be used as an item to recharge a better wep, kinda like in osrs with the tentacle and in rs3 like whatever the wildywyrms drop.

Thank you Lation and everyone! I am very very excited to be a part of the team!

This is awesome! Great job man!!

Support for increased drop chance at bosses, but not for boosted xp. You brought up Kyle, adding this would basically just give leaderboards to people who gave the most money. We want to give incentive for people to donate, not make them feel like they can't compete unless they donate. Also, we would need to be able to decide how much to give per item for every item. This may take awhile. I would like to see GE accept selling ALL items at 1.5-2x high alch price, and this well to accept straight cash. I think that would mitigate the need for deciding exactly how much each item is worth. (But it would mean that more money would be in game)

I fully support the addition of the osrs bosses, I don't think (although I don't know for sure) that they would be super difficult to implement if the code for them is ripped from other servers. Vorago on the other hand I think would be out of the question, it is both newer than the build and a very heavily animated boss. It also is a group boss which good or bad needs to be taken into account in a smaller server. Otherwise awesome! +1 support

Sorry i thought that was abundantly clear. Absolutely no support for removing from tradeable unlocks.
-
Oh woof is that really what my forum account looks like? I look like a noob. Whelp, guess i need to post more on this server.

I am a large fan of the in-game tradable unlocks. I do not think that any additional "passive" benefits should be added. If added as a tradable unlock I support: #5 #7 #8 (though i think this is unnecessary, this wouldnt benefit anyone that doesn't use an autoclicker [which is bannable]) I also support #3 for all players. I have really enjoyed the lottery aspect of high level imps. Though im nervous this would become another crystal chest (plz no comp req). Overall, little support. I think that the coding time required for these changes outweighs their benefit. Best, Gabriel

Okay will do when I get back in town. Thank you, Sunday

Hola, It came to my attention that a number of the clue scroll rewards are unlimited in the GE, is that intended? Best, Sunday
