HI and welcome to my guide Today we're going to learn how to train the Thieving Skill All rates are based on NO xp boost being active except Black Ibis You don't need any items to train thieving but the Black Ibis set is helpful as it gives bonus xp. You can get the set from the skilling rewards shop by typing ::shops ingame. The whole set will cost 48k skilling points or 12k per piece. The set can also be bought from players, refer to the price guide for info on prices. Remember to use your Voting tickets for 10 minutes of 50% bonus xp! There are a few ways to train thieving, I'm going to show you the fastest and the most profitable ways Side note: Master farmers are great for seeds, the one at donator zone gives a lot of herb seeds To get started, go to the thieving stalls north of the bank at home. There you will find three stalls Baker stall (level 1) - Silk Stall (level 45) - Gem Stall (level 75) Fastest way (Non Donator) Note: Pickpocketing the dwarf trader may not be viable unless $25 donator Fastest way (Donator) Most profitable way Kthxbai

General Graador (Bandos) Guide About the boss General Graador is a level 624 boss that has 2540 hitpoints and resides In the Bandos area of Godwars Dungeon. General Graador has 2/3 of a chance to attack with melee which is his main attack style and a 1/3 chance to attack with ranged where he slams the ground. General Graador has 3 minions in his boss room that attack with all three styles of combat How to get to General Graador To get to General Graador do Once you arrive run north-east until you come to this door Click on the door and pay the 500k entrance fee to be teleported into the boss room. If the boss room is occupied you can use the instance there which is 1m coins for Ironmen and 5m coins for regular players. Keep in mind that instances are dangerous and all items will be lost on Death! Gear and Inventory To fight General Graador you are going to want to use your best melee gear possible. Below I have shown an High Tier, Mid tier and Welfare setup that can all be used to defeat General Graador. High Tier Mid Tier Welfare For the Inventory you are going to want to take as shown below. The Boss Fight General Graador has three minions called Sergeant Strongstack, Sergeant Steelwill and Sergeant Grimspike They all have there own attack styles as shown below. Sergeant Strongstack (Melee) Sergeant Steelwill (Magic) Sergeant Grimspike (Ranged) When you are ready teleport to Bandos pray melee as shown below and enter the boss room to begin the Boss fight. The strategy with General Graador is to use the steel titan to attack Steelwill and Grimspike using the steel titans special attack to kill them quickly. This reduces the damage you take allowing you to focus on General Graador. Once General Graador is finished you can attack Strongstack if you have enough time before General Graador respawns but this is not essential as he does no damage to you as you are always praying melee while in the boss room. The Lootations General Graador has a very nice drop table which includes Bandos armour and the Bandos Godsword and is a very good way to make starter cash on Ely as with a recent update the minions now drop items too as shown below. Kalphite Queen Guide About the boss The Kalphite Queen has a combat level of 333, each form has 2550 Hitpoints, and her Ranged and Magic attacks have very high accuracy. She may also use a decently accurate Melee attack. The Queen has two forms: the first, she is an immense scarab beetle, and in her second, a giant wasp. She switches forms ONLY after the first has been fully defeated. As a beetle, she is extremely resistant to Magic and Ranged attacks, as indicated by her overhead prayers. As a wasp, she is resistant to Melee attacks although it is still viable to use melee on both phases when using a steel titan as its special attacks do range damage. Kalphite Queen DOES NOT require you to be on a slayer task in order to defeat it. How to get to Kalphite Queen To get to Kalphite Queen do Once you arrive click on the tunnel below to enter the Kalphite lair Once in the lair run south and you will find the Kalphite Queen. there is not currently an instance for this boss at the moment but I believe one will be added soon. Gear and Inventory To fight the Kalphite Queen you are going to want to use your best melee gear. It is advised to kill Kalphite Queen while on a slayer task so you have the bonus damage but it is not essential and Kalphite queen can still be easily killed without being on task. Divine is not essential but helps reduce the damage received as Kalphite Queen has accurate attacks. Below are examples of High and Mid tear gear that is effective at Kalphite Queen. High Tier Mid Tier For the Inventory you are going to want to take as shown below. The Boss Fight Once you are ready to fight Kalphite Queen teleport there and enter the lair. With the setup above the tactic is to melee the first phase using titan to attack then during the second phase spam the titans special attacks as they do range based damage and will kill the second form quickly. If using a divine you can soulsplit Kalphite Queen but if using a DFS or Dragon Defender then its best to protect against magic. The Lootations Kalphite Queen drops various items such as skilling supplies. The most popular drops are the Primal Spear and the KQ head for the recolouring of the slayer helmet. Kraken Guide About the boss Kraken is a level 291 Boss that requires you have Kraken as a Slayer task in order to defeat him. Kraken Can be Found on Boss slayer tasks which require you to have 90 Slayer to access. Kraken is very weak to Magic, even though it uses Magic as its attack style. It is highly resistant to Ranged and immune to Melee, due to the fact that it cannot be reached by Melee attacks. Due to these mechanics, Magic is the only way to kill the Kraken effectively. How to get to Kraken To get to Kraken type Kraken does have an instance which can be used if someone is doing the boss as this area is not instanced. The instance costs 500k for regular players and 100k for ironmen. Gear and Inventory Kraken is weak to Magic so you want to use your best offensive magic gear. Below is an example of high and mid tier gear that can be used to defeat Kraken. High tier Storm of Armadyl High tier Barrage Mid Tier Barrage In your inventory you want an overload and prayer renewal then Saradomin Brews and super restores followed by a few rocktails for combo food then your runes as shown below dependant on the setup you have chosen. You will also want to be on the ancients spellbook and regular prayers so that you can activate the prayers below. The Boss Fight Once you have Kraken assigned as a boss task teleport to Kraken to begin the fight. once there autocast blood barrage and pray mage and activate Augury and your runic accuracy aura then attack the four outer whirlpools shown in the picture below to until each of the four tentacles have spawned then attack the big whirlpool in the middle to summon Kraken. Kraken can hit up to 300s with his magic attack through prayer so keep your hitpoints high at all times. The Lootations Kraken drops trident of the seas which is a very good Magic weapon and drops Kraken tentacle which can be used on a whip to make a Abyssal Tentacle whip which is a stronger version of the whip. Kraken also has various other drops as shown below. Definitely sucks seeing Vegemite step down from his Support Staff role as it was nice to be able to have some form of staff member on during the Oceanic Time Period as other staff were often offline during this time. Definitely wish Vegemite all the best for his future endeavors. As for the update in staff, I definitely want to give Owl (@kutanaga) a huge congrats. He's definitely helped me out a lot since I started my journey here at Ely. As for @z e l d a and @Will - I haven't really had much to do with either of you and I think this is mainly due to timezone restrictions, but I wish you all the best in your journey forward as Support as-well.
